    I agree that spending huge bucks just to look good does not make sense. That can be done by spending less as well.

    Don't forget the trend to wear a vintage look tuxedo. Maybe something in Dad's closet or buy one pretty cheap and sell it back after the prom. Very affordable and very cool!
